Deciding what and how much to eat, how much we train or work out, or even just staying active to compensate for our sedentary jobs.

And yet, obesity is trending up. People are weaker than ever. I see 20-year-olds now who can’t even do things that I can do in my 30s.

Hold on, hold on! Yes, I do calisthenics and can perform some skill work that’s above average. But I’m not talking about that!

Imagine being able to jump.

Yes. To jump. With no repercussions. No pain in your knees, heavy breathing, no weird shit happening to your body, even though you are in your twenties.

How crazy is it not to be able to do so? And, honestly, I think this should be something people can still do in their 40s, even their 50s, or 60s!

Something that comes naturally to humans. We jump with euphoria when we’re happy. We jump on stuff when we are kids. We jump because it’s fun.

I love to jump, even if it’s for no reason. Reflecting on it today, I realized that I want to be able to jump even when I’m older.

You ask why? Well, why would I not? It gives me joy.

I think this might have subconsciously been a contributing factor to “why I like to work out and train my body”, even though I never realized it until now.

And there are many other reasons, I’m sure! I want to be able to move! Moving is fun! Running is fun!

And, mind you, this doesn’t have to be hard, nor time-consuming, nor expensive.

What’s expensive is the place you’ll be—i.e., your health-related costs as you age—if you keep falling into the bottomless pit of the current age (yes, we’re all inevitably in the pit already, but you can climb back up if you WANT to).

Modern society, desk jobs, lazy lifestyles, and technology all contributed to normalizing the ‘weakness’ epidemic.

“Yooo! But you can do that crazy stuff because you work out so much!”

Bro, on average, I work out 3 times per week. Usually 1 hour per workout, sometimes 1.5 hours. That’s 4.5 hours per week, that’s nothing!

How many hours do you waste (yes, waste, not spend) on social media every DAY?

And yet, you can’t find even 30 minutes every few days to move your body?

If you are in that position, you have no right to complain. You have no right to judge.

“But gym memberships are sooo expensive!”

Let us not kid ourselves. If you sit 12+ hours and walk less than 5k steps per day, plus you have never trained, I GUARANTEE you that you DO NOT need any expensive equipment to start training your body!

You have become so weak (but you can fix this quite fast!) that your own body is enough when you start training.

This is actually good news. You can improve A LOT with just your bodyweight!

It’s also 2025, and the information is essentially free. Just look up stuff on Google or YouTube.

You’re too lazy to even look for stuff yourself? Ask ChatGPT to craft a flexible bodyweight workout schedule for a complete beginner, tailored to your own situation. That’s free as well.

You see, it’s not the cost, the time, or any other bullshit excuse you can and will come up with.

It’s all just about loving and respecting yourself, your body, and especially your future self.

And that’s all, for now. You don’t have to prove anything to me. Because, after all, it’s your life you’re ruining, not mine!

Cheers, and stay fit!

Take Profits, But Sell For The “best currency” out there thanks to its status as the “world reserve currency”, and yet it’s down 99% against Bitcoin.

Even gold, despite keeping up with inflation, pales against what Bitcoin has achieved.

So, anon, my question is very simple: what do you sell your Bitcoin (or any other volatile therefore profitable asset) for when your portfolio is up like crazy?

Here I am talking about preserving your wealth across decades, and it’s not a trivial answer or task at all.

Surely we can’t count on fiat, real estate is more of another side hustle rather than passive investment, and precious metals are just facing a slower death compared to the aforementioned options.

Not to talk about taxes! If you invest $100k in an asset that goes up by 20% in a few years, and then in the same timeframe the money supply went up by 20%, you will sell the asset for $120k, but taxes will eat you alive.

Let me explain. Let’s say you pay 20% taxes on capital gains in your country, thus you’ll pay $4k on your $20k profit and net a $14k profit (on paper).

However, because of currency debasement and inflation, the $120k now have the same purchasing power of the $100k back then when you bought!

Can you see the issue? You didn’t gain anything. In fact, you lost “money” in terms of absolute purchasing power.

This is how governments forcibly but silently take wealth away from the masses.

The only way to escape this faith (legally, and without moving abroad lol) is to invest your savings into an asset that can outpace—and will keep on doing so for years on end—the rate at which currency debasement happens.

In other words, if your assets are barely surviving the inflation rate, you’re cooked.

You want something that’s actually going up over time in terms of purchasing power.

That’s why they say “HODL forever“ and “you don’t sell your Bitcoin“.

It’s not that simple, though, because most people are not Bitcoin maxis. Not all people are youngsters that can afford to wait 10 years if we suddenly face a major winter and downtrend.

There is no such a thing as a risk-free investment. But Bitcoin is probably the best long-term risk-adjusted asset to invest in.

As much as I hate to admit it, as much as I hate the term “diversification”, as much as I hate “to hedge”… I have a part of my portfolio in other hard assets (though not as hard as BTC), just so that if an emergency happens I won’t have to liquidate my Bitcoin.

For me, this strategy works the best, and ultimately it lets me put away more money from my cash flow into growing the size of my stack.

Now, throughout the years, if we keep stacking sats, we will be reaching a point after which we have enough money to sustain our lifestyle for a couple of decades.

That’s when I’ll take bigger profits off the table. Put some of it away to be able to live off of it. It’s ok if this part is in way less volatile assets that just “barely survive“ inflation. Its purpose is not to make us rich nor more money.

Just remember, never go all in, but neither all out!

The Rise and Rise of AI Search Engines

AI search engines are redefining how we find and understand information. You typed in keywords, and they gave you links. It worked, but it feels outdated now.

AI search engines are different. They understand context. They interpret meaning. They anticipate what you’re really asking for, not just what you type in the search bar. It’s a shift from searching to understanding.

This changes everything.

The End of SEO as We Know It?

The rise of AI-powered search worries many marketers. SEO thrived on clicks, rankings, and carefully optimized content. AI could make those methods irrelevant.

If AI search engines give users exactly what they need without making them sift through pages of links, what happens to SEO? What happens to the curated results that used to be so vital?

AI search gives you direct answers. Curated, trustworthy, and concise responses. You don't need to sift through pages to find what you're looking for.

SEO will need to evolve or become obsolete. Creating valuable, human-centered content matters now more than ever. AI doesn't reward manipulation; it rewards genuine relevance.

Some say SEO will adapt. That it will find a new home on these AI platforms. But that misses the point. The whole reason why AI search is revolutionary is because it removes the need for manual curation. The AI does it for you.

It will all be about creating value that AI will recognize and surface. It’s a new game, with new rules.

AI Search Engines Will Control Information

They are the gatekeepers. They're the ones deciding what we see and how we see it.

Companies like Perplexity AI already demonstrate this. Ask a question, and it gives a concise answer backed by reliable sources. OpenAI and Google's Gemini are pushing this even further. They aim to combine the entire internet's knowledge with AI-driven understanding.

This shift matters because whoever controls information shapes reality.

That kind of power needs scrutiny. We must make sure AI (and big corpos) serves humanity, not controls it.

Imagine this: You ask a question, and the AI gives you the complete answer, nuanced, backed by reliable sources. No more clicking around, no more guessing which link to trust. The AI has already done the hard work for you.

You can easily see how this gives them the power and flexibility to lead the masses towards certain truths instead of others.

The Shift in Power

This shift is about power. The power of information. The power to decide what’s important and what isn’t.

AI search engines will change the balance. They’re becoming the gatekeepers of knowledge, deciding what we see and how we see it.

This is both exciting and terrifying. The tools that give us instant, accurate answers are also the ones that shape our understanding of the world and perception of society.

We need to be aware of this power. To question it. To make sure that as AI search engines rise and serve us, not the other way around.

Embrace the Change

AI search engines are rewriting the rules, and we’re all a part of it. Whether you like it or not.

This is a moment to embrace the change, to see the potential, and to learn to guide these tools.

Knowing how to prompt an AI correctly will be an invaluable skill in the future.

The tools are here. The future is bright. How will you explore it?

Thanks for reading Kiryoko’s Journey! That we've built a system outside the reach of governments, corporations, and traditional power structures. But have we?

Not really. Not yet.

Look at the landscape. Satoshi Nakamoto has done a damn good job at decentralization, with Bitcoin, despite what critics say. But what about the rest?

Ethereum, after moving from PoW to PoS, is starting to show cracks. But the real shitshow? It’s the so-called "Ethereum killers", the alternative L1s, L2s, and chains. Most are controlled by foundations, a handful of validators, or both. They’re centralized to the core.

And then there's GameFi, wallets, bridge, and a lot of other apps. Custodial, centralized, and completely dependent on a few key players.

Most users don’t even realize—or care.

Fully on-chain dApps? They’re rare, and there’s a reason for that. True decentralization often comes with UX headaches and inefficiencies. So unless you’ve got a really compelling use case, most projects stick to what’s easier: centralized solutions with a bit of decentralized branding.

This isn't decentralization. It's just a new layer of the same old system.

Why No One Cares

No one gives a shit. And I mean that literally.

People talk big about decentralization, but when it comes down to it? They don't care. What they care about is making money. Fast. That's it.

Look at the hype around DeFi, NFTs, shitcoins/memecoins, and all the other shiny new toys. What do they have in common? A good 99% of those are centralized, controlled, and manipulated. But people don’t care as long as the profits keep rolling in.

Decentralization: A Moving Target

Decentralization is a spectrum, not binary. It’s something to aim for, not something we’ve achieved. And right now, we're still far from the target.

Why? Because true decentralization is hard. It’s messy, slow, and often inefficient. People like the idea of decentralization until they realize it means giving up control, speed, and convenience.

But here's the thing: the dream of decentralization isn’t dead. It's just early. The tools, protocols, and incentives aren't fully there yet. But they could be. If we care enough to build them.

What Needs to Change

If we actually want decentralization—and that’s a big "if"—we need to rethink everything.

First, we need to stop pretending that what we have now is good enough. It’s not. These half-assed decentralized apps are just centralized ones with a blockchain sticker slapped on them.

Second, we need to prioritize decentralization in our designs. That means less reliance on centralized platforms, more focus on peer-to-peer protocols, and a commitment to making decentralization practical and user-friendly.

Third, we need to create incentives that prioritize true decentralization over short-term gains. Right now, the system favors centralization because it’s easier and more immediately profitable. But if we want decentralization to flourish, we need to reward it in a way that makes it not just viable but preferable.

The Real Question

But here’s the real question: Do we actually want this? Do we actually want a world where no one is in control? Where power is truly distributed?

Most people? They don’t want decentralization. They want security, convenience, and profits. And they’re willing to sacrifice decentralization to get it.

So maybe the problem isn’t that crypto and Web3 aren’t decentralized. Maybe the problem is that we—as in society—don’t actually care about decentralization as much as we say we do.

A Call to Action

If you're a builder, an innovator, a dreamer—you need to ask yourself what you really want. Do you want decentralization, with all its messiness and complexity? Or do you just want to cash in on the next big thing?

If you want decentralization, it’s going to take work. Real work. It’s going to take new ideas, new technologies, and new incentives. It’s going to take a commitment to building something that might not be profitable in the short term but could change the world in the long term.

And if you don’t care about decentralization? Well, at least be honest about it.

The Future Isn’t Set

Crypto and Web3 still have a long journey ahead. Decentralization isn’t dead—it’s just delayed. But whether it ever arrives depends on us.

So, what’s it going to be? Do we care enough to build a truly decentralized future? Or are we just going to keep pretending?

The choice is ours.

Thanks for reading Kiryoko’s Journey! New technologies arise every day. Did you notice it, anon?

It's becoming increasingly clear that software developers are the true architects of our era. In the past, the greatest empires built their weapons, structures, and castles with bricks or stones. But today, you see an ethereal empire built on the internet.

Every device you use has at least a bit of electronics, all powered by code. If you're a software developer, you have the power to create value from nothing.

This power is abstract but immensely potent.

Consider building a house: if you need to change parts of it mid-construction, you'd have to tear it down and start over. In contrast, rebuilding is quick and cost-effective when developing a program, especially in the prototyping or MVP phase.

The Invisible Power

The power of software developers is not just significant. It's transformative.

Consider your car; it's no longer a mechanical system alone. When you press the brakes, there's an 'if' statement somewhere deciding whether you actually stop. This level of control underscores the unseen influence of software developers, a power that society has yet to fully comprehend.

If you're a CEO, you should think carefully about the authority you grant your CTO. A tech co-founder holds the keys to your empire.

This becomes even more evident with the rise of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. The infamous adage "code is law" holds true. Just as the ancient gods dictated the laws of physics, developers write the rules governing blockchain and cryptocurrencies in code.

Every rule above the primary system constraints on a blockchain is defined by smart contract code. Even the fundamental protocol rules were crafted by software developers.

If you can write a program, you wield immense power. Knowledge is power, and coding is knowledge.

This power becomes concerning when considering that AI models are increasingly proficient at generating, editing, and improving code. The idea of entrusting such power to systems that can be manipulated by criminals gives me the chills.

Yes, by criminals, I mean the government, corrupted politicians, people without a sense of honor. The ones that are above. The people pulling the strings.

Defining our Future

As a software developer or aspiring one, you look at life above average.

You can (and hopefully) will) create great software because the world needs it. The demand is staggering. Everything can be improved with automation and technology.

It's not just about writing code. It's about designing the future. Every line of code you write shapes the world in profound ways.

This isn't an exaggeration. Consider the social media platforms that dominate our daily lives. They started as simple ideas, lines of code strung together by visionary developers.

Now, they influence global politics, economics, and culture.

Developers' influence is unparalleled. You're not just a cog in the machine; you are the machine. With the ability to iterate quickly, developers can pivot and adapt in ways that traditional industries cannot.

The democratization of software development has also led to a surge in open-source projects, where the collective intelligence of the developer community is harnessed.

This is where true innovation happens. In these collaborative spaces, groundbreaking technologies emerge, often driven by passion rather than profit.

Harnessing the Power

Coding should be taught in schools, just like writing.

At its core, coding is problem-solving. It teaches you to break down problems into manageable pieces and tackle them from various angles. Coding builds resilience.

Most of the time, code does not compile or run on the first try. When it finally does, initial tests often fail. We constantly fix things, becoming accustomed to rejection and failure.

This process sharpens the mind, making it resilient.

Coding is not just a technical skill. It's a philosophical one.

It forces you to confront the nature of reality, to deconstruct and reconstruct it through logic and creativity.

This is why coding should be taught early, to instill a mindset of critical thinking and resilience. When you code, you learn to face failure head-on, to iterate and improve.

This is a life skill, a mindset that breeds innovation and perseverance.

Programmers do not give up. There is always a way to solve a problem. We always find a way. This is the true essence of being a software developer.

You hold the power to change the world. What will you create?

Thanks for reading Kiryoko’s Journey!
